Are you working with medical interpreters? 

·      Washington's Health Care Authority (HCA) and our Union have created an informational document on the State's Interpreter Services Program for providers serving Medicaid enrollees that includes helpful tips about teaming with medical interpreters. 

·    Check out this helpful guide from the International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA) on how to work with interpreters in medical settings. 

·    Download a poster to help limited English proficient (LEP) people identify their language needs.

·    For additional resources, please visit the Center for Linguistic and Cultural Competence in Health Care (CLCCHC) at the HHS Office of Minority Health.
