Fall of odd years: WFSE conducts Bargaining Team elections.

Winter of even years: Bargaining Team training and vetting of contract proposals.

Spring of even years: Negotiations with the State.

• July: Tentative Agreement reached.
• August: Interest Arbitration if necessary.
• September: Ratification of the negotiated contract by the membership through a YES/NO vote.
• October: Ratified contract submitted to the Legislature for a YES/NO vote.

Winter of odd years: Legislature votes to approve our contract through a YES/NO vote.

• July: The new contract goes into effect.
